Founded by Monsieur Perrin, to transport stones for building development in his home town of Lausanne on the shores of Geneva Lake; the company rapidly expanded and within just a few years had more than 80 horses and cart teams working nationally across Switzerland.

In 1926, Colonel Lavanchy bought the company. Several generations later and without a successor, the company will be renamed it Transit’air.

In 2015, the company celebrated it’s 175th anniversary. With an experienced team of 18 people, Transit’air supports you in all your projects by proposing tailor-made solutions that are advantageous and adapted to your needs and requirements.
Aware that today’s apprentices will be our future specialists; Transit’air is turning to vocational training to ensure a qualified succession of quality.
